THE BACKGROUND, ETHNICITY - caucasian PARENTS - benjamin grant reynolds, father, 40, alive noelle grace reynolds, mother, 37, alive SIBLING(S) - carson heath reynolds, older brother, 22, alive asher william reynolds, twin brother, 16, alive PET(S) -- OTHER(S) -- GENERAL HISTORY - ashery william reynolds and ellarie jane reynolds were born to noelle and benjamin reynolds on march twenty-second sixteen years ago. the two were shocked when they were told they were having twins, but were still happy to finally be having more children after their first. despite popular belief, ellarie's life was far from easy. at a young age she always felt like she was a disappointment to the family. the reynolds' gene of supreme intelligence seemed to have skipped her so her school performance never lived up to her parents expectations. her parents, her father especially, would tell her that it was ok that her grades weren't perfect, but she knew, deep down, that the entire family looked down on her. however, by ellarie's twelfth birthday she decided not to care anymore. she began to be more social and made a bunch of friends. she knew that as soon as high school was over she'd got to community college, get some random degree, and have a desk job for the rest of her life. so her life as a kid became about having fun and enjoying every second she had before she grew up. throughout this time, she never once hated her brothers for being smarter than her. there was nothing she could do, it was the luck of the draw, so there wasn't any use in being mad at them. that is, until one day... it was summer before ellarie and asher's older brother carson went to college when everything changed. asher tried to kill himself. he tried to overdose on their mother's pills. at first, ellarie was scared for her brother and when he came out alive she was relieved. but a few days after he was back from the hospital, something dawned on ellarie. before then she hadn't given much thought to the reason why asher tried to end his own life. she realized that it could only be one thing. asher felt like he wasn't living up to their parent's expectations and he couldn't take it anymore. maybe ellarie was jumping to conclusions, but she didn't care. deep down she knew that it was the only pause reason and it made her so angry. how could asher, their second perfect child, feel like that? did he even know how ellarie felt? how she struggled for so long to please them? how could he not see what he had was everything that ellarie worked for for years and couldn't achieve?! ellarie was furious with her brother from then on. she didn't show it to his face very often, yes she became a little bit more snippy to him, but that could also have been blamed on the fact that during this time after asher's attempted suicide, their parents began to fight with one another. they were so worried about asher and were so clueless on how to help him that they took their anxiety out on each other. soon it became too much and they decided to split up, separating ellarie and asher as well. ellarie sobbed and sobbed and begged them not to split, but deep down this was exactly what she wanted. she was feeling guilty for hating asher as much as she did, and she felt that being away from him for a while might help her forgive him. her and her father moved away and ellarie began a new life. she quickly made new friends, one of which, who's mother changed ellarie's life. the girls name was ally and her mom was a modeling agent who happened to be looking for a new client. the moment the women laid eyes on ellarie she bombarded her with a job offer, she claimed that ellarie was perfect model material and after a little makeover, she'd be stunning. to this day, ellarie never remembered actually saying yes, but before she knew it, she was sent off for a makeover. when it was all done she could barely believe her eyes. she had never really cared much about fashion and beauty so she always looked so average, but after seeing herself all made up, she felt like she was looking at someone she'd been missing her whole life. she was beautiful. her first modeling job came quickly, and then another, and another, and soon she had tons of job offers that her and her agent -- her friend's mother -- could barely keep up. ellarie was living the good life. then a snide comment changed everything for her. at one gig, she overheard girls talking about their weights and how one girl was dropped from a shoot for being two pounds too big. ellarie knew the girl they were talking about. the girl weighed less than ellarie! this made ellarie nervous and very conscious about her weight. modeling wasn't just fun anymore. it was business. she needed to maintain a perfect weight or she'd lose everything. and again, she sent herself back into insecurity that she had only recently gotten out of. both her father and her agent noticed a change in her behavior after this. they both decided that it would be good for ellarie to take a break from constant modeling and return to full on schooling, and only do occasional modeling jobs. ellarie didn't protest. she kinda missed going to a school everyday. her father decided to send her to harbor academy because he had heard many good things about the school. ellarie was very excited to be back in a school until she had an unexpected encounter. as it turned out, her mother also sent asher to harbor, so the twins were together again.
