LYDIA && VALENE
So, given that these two are actually pretty similar, I'm thinking friends - maybe even best friends. Lydia is new to Harbour this year so it would take a while for them to get to that point unless they knew each other when they were growing up, way before Lydia's parents divorced and she moved with her dad to New York for a while. It could have been a while since they've seen each other, and they recognize each other one day at school and it's like a big happy best friend reunion. Either that, or they can become really close as Lydia starts to fit into the school. Either one works for me, so let me know which you prefer, or if you have any other ideas!

So Lydia and Valene have to be budds because, you know, they're just awesome people. <3 Although they couldn't be childhood friends because Valene spent most of her time traveling Europe with her father so they'd have to meet when Lydia transfers into Harbor. But yeah, they're both in the neutral group so they may just stick together out of habit and end up becoming friends. <3
