When the amount of people started to thin and the noise that usually filled this location was rather.. subtle, a calm and enjoyable silence. Sitting at one of the numerous tables, there was a n open notebook - half the page written on - with another book beside it. Ko never enjoyed studying in class - trying to jot notes from a book and from a teacher while deciding which is important was a tad too annoying for his taste. Instead, he enjoyed merely studying the books they were assigned out so class. It was easier for him - then he could focus on the teacher's words in class. Not that he always listened to what teachers had to say. Kohaku really wasn't the best at paying attention during class -- there merely was too many distracting things, like the people around him and his own thoughts. Like now, actually, his own thoughts were distracting him. Elbows perched on the table, the student rest his chin on his palm, eyes shifted away from the paper, seemingly locked on a tree beside himself. He was not really looking at it, merely at the birds resting in it and through the plant. He honestly. just could not keep a clear head today. It had been a rather plain day, but he had got a text from his baby brother. It was rather shocking - one that his brother had gotten a phone and his number, but more so the other choose to contact him. The younger sibling had not written to him in quite a long time, it left the boy so shocked he didn't even know how to reply. The phone also rest by his notebook, the text unreplied since well, eh couldn't think of one. He was so stumped on the text that he found a mental block with his notes as well. The man sighed, eyes closing. He felt exhausted suddenly. Perhaps he could search for something fun tonight, rather then books. That sounded rather nice. Though, if he really would, now that was a question. Kohaku had been staying home recently, working on his grades - but now it all felt rather pointless. Studying, grades, reports home. It felt like a schedule, one his father would be proud of but to himself felt like it was crushing him. Ko really wasn't the type to enjoy being still, being silent, being stomped out from society. No, he was very social - a open person, friendly and needed to be around people! With a weak huff, Ko quickly closed the notebook, rubbing at his forehead. Really - why was this all so important? Useless facts that he could forget in a year or a few weeks rather. Sometimes, he doubted the usefulness of such a place. any and all notes can go here |
