OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Jenna is easily the most sociable person you'll ever meet. She gets along with nearly everyone, whether that person be fourteen or fifty-five. She's that girl that you'll see at every party, looking the most classy and holding conversation with anyone that comes along. Jenna would hold a conversation with a brick wall if she could. She's extremely talkative and often forgets she's supposed to play the role as a 'listener' as well. She rarely holds a steady boyfriend, easily blaming that on her busy lifestyle. In reality though, Jenna is very guarded and afraid to wear her heart out like that, seeing as how she's been hurt so many times in the past. She'd much rather spend the night with her girls instead of worrying about where her boyfriend is.
Jenna has been through a lot in her life but she absolute does not make that public. From her father passing away, to eating disorders, to being used and misused and financially unstable from her family, Jenna has definitely not had it easy, but she makes do with what she can. It's very rare that anyone would expect any of this from Jenna Taylor, the girl that seems to have it all together, but that's the facade she puts out and it hasn't given her any trouble yet.

OVERALL HISTORY:
Growing up in a home with four other kids was never easy, but when your family barely made enough money to pay the bills it made it that much harder. The Taylors lived in a small town in New York. When Jenna was younger, she was a tomboy; following her older brother Jamie with every step he took. The only thing that held young Jenna back from roughin' it up with the boys was the fact that at age two she started ballet. Her parents of course didn't have the money to pay for the classes, but her Yahyah (Grandmother Scott) insisted that she would make sure the money for the classes was taken care of- and it always was. Jenna always made sure she was cleaned up for ballet, although fifteen minutes before she was probably running around outside with the boys of the neighborhood, playing tag.
When she was five years old, Marisol and Joseph brought home twins: a new baby boy and a new baby girl. Mika and Milya seemed like the perfect addition to the family, and although at first Jenna grew jealous of the attention the new babies got (seeing as how she was no longer the baby of the family), she grew to love them. Then, when she was ten years old her mother brought home another baby boy; they called him Jones. Seeing as how the Taylor family struggled with finances even when it was just four of them, extending their family was the worst possible decision. The Taylors managed to make the very most of the situation though, and although Jenna was now the second to oldest, far from the baby, she still managed to keep all eyes.. ears, better yet, on her. She could take a million miles a minute about anything and everything, focusing the attention of many thanksgiving and Christmas dinners on herself. While Marisol stayed busy taking care of the children, cleaning up, and making sure everyone was fed, Joseph worked constantly to pay the bills. When he wasn't at work though, Joseph loved spending time with his precious children. Jenna was a self-proclaimed favorite, but anyone that saw them could see that there was a special bond between Jenna and her father. Jenna was a complete daddy's girl, he essentially was her rock. While most girls relied on their mother for things, Jenna preferred her father.
Since she was naturally athletic, the summer of her 6th grade year Jenna decided to try out for her middle school's tiny cheerleading squad. Seeing as how most of the girls could barely do cartwheels, Jenna made it instantly with her array of back-handsprings and loud cheers. It didn't come so easily though, because Jenna was bigger than most of the girls on the squad. She often got sneers of being the "fat cheerleader" and laughs. Her father would tell her it was only in jealousy, but when kids say mean things it really sticks. Jenna began eating less during meals in an attempt to get thin. Being one of five children, especially one of the oldest, Jenna was overlooked when it came to her skipping meals and eating tiny proportions. She was getting thinner though and pleased with the results, Jenna stopped eating all together. This was extremely bad for her, especially at her young age when her body was still growing. She was no longer the "fat cheerleader" though and that made her content.
A year later though, her world completely changed forever. Joseph was in a head-on collision and instantly passed away. Jenna was completely devastated, as was the rest of the family. It was different though, with Jenna; not only had she lost her father, she'd lost her best friend- the man she was the closest to, the one she relied on. The loss was extremely hard for Jenna and instead of making her stronger it seemed to make her weaker. Jenna began eating everything in sight, instantly feeling horrible afterward and forcing herself to throw up. This continued until she was fifteen years old and her mother caught her on the floor of her bathroom nearly passed out. Jenna was forced into therapy, which she claims now saved her life. Fifteen was such a young age to be dealing with everything, and her therapist really showed her alternate ways of handling the cards she was dealt. She began focusing more on school and grew into being very motivated and driven. She knew that her dad would be proud, so she did the best she could in everything. Her grades surely showed and when she was a freshman in high school she was at the very top of her class. Jenna began getting letters from schools all around the country, but one caught her eye-- Harbor Academy in the gorgeous Orange County, California. The OC was nearly a dream for Jenna, it was where all the beautiful people were, all upper-crust lived there. It was everything she wanted and more, so she accepted the offer and was shipped off to the exclusive school on scholarship for her sophomore year and the rest of her high school career.

WON'T CRY FOR MY SOLITUDE
lay my head and dream of you
"I'm sure there's a community college around here or some sort of job that would be willing to hire you," Jenna spoke into the receiver of her Blackberry as it rested on the marble bar that separated her kitchen from her living room. Jenna flipped her long, wet brunette hair before covering it in a towel and flipping it on the top of her head. "Jen it's not always that easy, remember, just because we're related doesn't mean things come as easy to me as they did to you." A male's voice replied loud through the speaker phone on Jenna's cell. Jenna rolled her eyes, "Don't give me that shit, Jamie, you know damn well that nothing came easy to me. I'm working my ass off right now to be where I am." Jenna snapped into the phone, picking it up as she walked back into her bedroom to grab a bottle of red fingernail polish from her nightstand to touch up her toenails.
"Whoa Miss Orange County, no need to get snappy," Jamie teased his younger sister with a small chuckle, "I know how hard you work and I admire that baby sis." Jenna rolled her eyes again as she settled in on the couch in her living room, placing the phone on the arm of her couch and her toes on the side of the coffee table. She bent over and unscrewed the top on the polish. As much as her nineteen year old, immature older brother got on her last nerve, he was pretty much Jenna's best friend. He was generally the only constant thing in her life and the only person that she could really let lose around and be herself with. Jamie knew Jenna and was there with her though everything like through their father's death, through Jenna's eating disorders and through Jenna's big move to California. It was difficult at first for Jenna to grasp that her older brother wasn't going to be just the next room over like he had been her entire life, but Jenna knew that nothing would come between them, no matter how far she moved. Jamie would still be that goofy, yet serious, overly-protective big brother. In ways, Jenna was glad that Jamie wasn't in the room right next to her anymore, because she was getting older and guys at Harbor paid her much more attention than they did at her old school, Joseph McQuirley.
Jenna listened to Jamie ramble on about his psycho girlfriend Mia for awhile while she fixed parts of her chipped toenail polish. Even though Jamie had been with Mia since high school, he was forever telling Jenna that he wanted to leave her and go on to new things. Jamie's love-life was beginning to look like it came straight out off a tacky romance novel, but then again Jenna's wasn't much different- she just wouldn't dare begin to explain it all to Jamie.. just for fear of the guys involved being at danger.
Lost in conversation, Jenna was startled once she heard her doorbell ring- then it hit her. "Shit, Jamie, I'll call you back. I totally forgot I have to help my friend Caleb study for History," Jenna spoke quickly into the phone, rushing to screw the lid tightly back on her fingernail polish. Jamie suddenly grew skeptical at the name of a male being mentioned, "Caleb? Right. I'm sure he'll be studying something else... Jenna, you really have to be careful. I know you're kinda naive and all when it comes to guys but I promise, especially with you, they're not as nice and charming as they app-" Jenna had enough, she totally forgot about helping Caleb that day and the last thing that she needed was her brother preaching to her via her cell phone. "Goodbye Jamie, I'll call you later." With that, Jenna pressed the end button and jumped up from her seat on the couch, making her way over to the door in a rush.
