We are very pleased to have you here and hope that you enjoy our site. Before you begin, please take a few moment sot go over these rules. They are here for everyone's benefit and will help things run more smoothly around here. GENERAL Please respect the staff and the other members. If you have a problem with something or someone on this site then please take it to PM and do not post it for the entire forum to see. If you're caught bashing this site, its members, or its staff anywhere, you will be banned. Glee deals with homosexuality and other things that some people are not accepting of, and we will not tolerate any inappropriate comments. Be warned. PATIENCE is extremely important around here. As such, the staff will not tolerate any nagging about application checks or replies in the c-box or anywhere else. We will get to it when we can. If you nag us or say anything that makes us feel like you’re nagging, then we will postpone checking your application and you’ll have to wait even longer. INACTIVITY: We understand people get dry spells, but please warn us if you're going to be away; it’s common courtesy. If you don't leave us a message or let us know about an absence and you're gone for an extended amount of time, you will be deleted. You’re more than welcome to re-register if you come back and find your account deleted, but you must remain active otherwise you’ll just be deleted again. Also, please note that if you register on the site and do not post an application within one week, you will be deleted. As such, if you do post an application and either don’t finish it or don’t make changes that were asked of you within one week, it will be moved to the incomplete board and you will have to PM a staff member if you want it moved back. You may also get deleted in this case too so that we can keep our site clean and active. WHEN REGISTERING: You can use any username you'd like, however, we ask that once you've registered, you change your display name to your character's full name in all caps. Also, please note that we expect a separate account for each character if you plan to have more than one. ROLE-PLAYING TEOG is an advanced, literate site with a minimum word count of 400 for all in character posts. Please be warned that some people may write more than that and will require more to work a reply from, so know what post lengths you're getting into beforehand to avoid trouble later. In line of the Proboards Terms of Service, all posts must remain PG-13 at most. The mention of drugs and alcohol are allowed and so are sex threads, however, they must fade to black before the actual event occurs. Anything that happens before that point can be played out, as so can anything that happens after. Swearing is also allowed. CHARACTERS As far as multiple characters go, we do allow them. However, we ask that you do not have more than four. For every two girls you have, there should be one male and vice versa to keep things even, and only one of your characters can be a canon if you wish to play them. Please do not take on more characters than you can handle. You must have five quality in-character posts with all previous characters (if you have more than one already) in order to get a new character. That means that you must have at least five posts in actual RP threads, and that does not include posting in plotters or games. You must also be actively posting on the site for at least a week with all previous characters before you can apply for another one. That means that there should always be a week period between the creation of characters, no matter how many you have already. Character pregnancy, both real and scares are also allowed. While creating your character(s) please keep in mind that the creation of Mary Sue's and Gary Stu's is prohibited. Everyone has flaws, no matter how perfect they may think they are. Your face claim must also be an actual person, which means that the use of animals and anime characters is not allowed. Also, be sure to take a moment to make sure your wanted face isn't claimed, and be sure to claim them as soon as you are accepted so you don't lose them to someone else. All unclaimed face claims are fair game and are first come, first serve. GRAPHICS Please, please, please set your character up with a graphic set! Having them makes the site look much prettier, and profiles look less empty. That being said, our avatar size is 150 x 200 - nothing more, nothing less. Signatures can be any size as long as they don't exceed 500 in width. The code phrase is "hanging on a moment of truth." If your graphics stretch the boards, the staff will take it down and you will be notified. If this happens, please take the time to re-size it before putting it back up. THE C-BOX AND ICC-BOX It would be preferable if you used your alias when talking in the cbox. Icons are enabled, so please use a 100 x 100 one of your playby to let people know who you play. If you play more than one character, you can switch between them. To get an icon beside your name, simply put the image link in the 'e-mail/url' field. Our cbox auto-refreshes as well, so if you hear a strange, don't panic xD There will be no advertising or any planning for other sites allowed in the c-box. The only place that you may advertise is in the advertisement board. Links to images and videos are also allowed, but please keep them appropriate. The ICC-box is a privilege, not a right. Therefore, in order to use it you must have at least one active thread going with the character you intend to use. IM threads and plot page posts do not count. The ICC is just like your typical instant message. That means that characters can only see what was said while they were "online" and can no longer "see" the conversation when the go "offline". With that said, please refrain from having out of character conversations while you're inside. We have a regular cbox for that. Click in order to get the ICC box to pop out!
