Katya Rivera, an eighteen year old junior who dances at Equinox a few nights a week to earn a little extra money for her personal needs. Katya is probably one of the few females at Harbour who is extremely confident with her looks without having to throw up everything she consumes on a daily basis, and is also confident in her personality whether people like her or not. Born in Colombia, Katya was raised by both her parents until her thirteenth birthday where her father left on account of cheating rumors that ended up being true. Katya’s mother decided that moving to the U.S. would be a better move for the both of them. All it managed to do for Katya was take her out of the quiet humble shell she grew up with in Colombia, to be a social, flirty, witty vixen that she is now. She’s never afraid to try new things, or boys, as long as they don’t come with any kind of contract or commitment……

As far as friends go, I can see Katya having two or three really close friends who know her well and although they may not agree with the choices she makes, can understand her and be there for her no matter what. Her sarcasm and attitude may sometimes make her seem like a b**** but It would be nice for people to see through that to the person she is on the inside. As crazy as Katya may seem, she can develop a soft spot for people who she believes are truly humble and will drop anything and everything to make sure of their well being. A few distant friends who she’s met through classes can be fun too, they may not know her deepest secrets, but they get along with her and enjoy having fun just as much as she does..

There is no confusion about Katya’s sexuality. She adores good looking men and enjoys flings here and there when she’s in the mood. Katya is all about having fun with her boy toys or possible friends with benefits. However, she won’t just sleep with just any guy that crosses her path, she’d have to see looks and personality crystal clear to decided whether she wants to pounce or not. But, she makes sure such things are never said out loud to avoid judgments. Katya never starves for attention, but is always found with a guy flirting with her not making her feel anything less than sexy. She is currently single and always ready for a disease-free good time. Seeing how her father cheated and abandoned her mother shook up her trust and commitment issues not really interesting her in serious relationships, but who knows…..

Because of her ‘I don’t give a fuck’ personality, I can see Katya getting into some catfights with anyone who looks at her the wrong way or who is found talking about her behind her back. Katya was always a little on the fierce side never backing down from a verbal or physical disagreement. I can see her having female enemies from possibly flirting with other girls’ boyfriends or love interests and not stopping even with a warning. The way she sees it, if the guy is flirting with her, perhaps they don’t care too much about the other girl, and she isn’t afraid to voice that opinion. Being a simple, down to earth person I don’t really see her having too many guy enemies but I’m open to any kind of plot.

^{perhaps these two had a class together, history that was required for all juniors. the first day of class they ended up sitting next to each other. the social butterfly jenna is, she started small talk with katya when eventually there were full on conversations taking place. jenna admires her "i dont give a damn" attitude, because although for the most part jenna is pretty confident in herself, she falls to fit in with the norm more often than she'd like to admit. maybe katya is sort of jenna's voice of reason in a way? like when jenna's being naive about something katya just like, tells it like it is? i can see not really the best of friends, but close acquaintances definitely.}

I actually really like that idea. I can see Katya noticing how naive Jenna can be sometimes and as a female, doesn't want Jenna to get stepped on by anyone, especially guys, so Katya can definitely be her voice of reason, and close friends most likely not since Katya doesn't have the best rep with the populars but she'd be willing to be acquaintances with Jenna <3

- - - Alright so here is what's goin on with these two crazy kids. Cyrus was at the dance club getting his groove on and during the night Katya was doing her dancing gig thing and it was like some sort of festivity or something. That involved the dancers pulling people up on stage. Well, she pulled up Cyrus and being the dancer that he really is (all across the board but what he's really good at is interpretive) he showed his moves on the stage. Maybe she was a bit impressed, maybe she found him charming after they babbled a bit after the dance. I could see them getting along really well, most certainly. Maybe a spark of romance in the air. Who knows?

Hahaha, that sounds like an interesting way of meeting/getting to know each other, I could totally see that happening. Katya would usually see him with Caleb and their other knucklehead friends and had no idea he had it in him so perhaps they could talk after, have a few drinks, and see where it leads.....muahahahaha, friends is definitely in the mix though, she would find him entertaining and he would probably feed off her personality as well.....woohooo!

No idea where we'd get with these two in the long run, but I have a sort of vague idea of how they could meet. Maybe she's on her way home after a night at the Equinox and her car breaks down, or she's in the parking lot and her car won't start, and Robin happens to be out and about on a night jog or driving home from a late night class and is all 'car trouble'?? and giving her a hard time, and walks her home or drives her home, depending, because it's really not all that great for for teenage girl to walk home alone at night? Idk. Just an idea, I don't know if this is way too out of her realm of personality or what. /cluelesshurrrr

- - - Yes most def. They will be of the lolsy and sexy variety I do think. Because, well, look at them. Also those two dancing together, would be the sex!

CASSIDY&&KATYA
- - - Here is the bottom line with these two, they are as close as two girls can be without things getting a little sexy. They met during both of their Freshman years through their passion for dance. It didn't take long before they were attached at the hip. It's true enough that they get in spats, true enough as well that from time to time Cassidy's need to be in the popular clique gets on Katya's nerves. They hold no reservations in telling each other exactly what they think and feel and this has probably been what has kept their friendship so wonderful. Honesty is the best thing after all.

With a long friendship comes a deep bond of trust which these girls have. As far as people knowing about Cassidy's drug use and wild side and even alter-ego go, the only person who has always been privvy to such information is Katya. These girls like to live on the edge, they like to push the limits, and they have a hell of a time doing it. It would take something pretty fierce to pull these two apart. Best bitches for life!

Well that is a pretty damn good start ;P, I can see Katya being a little resistant and stubborn at him helping her out at first but realizes that he isn't just some asshole looking to get lucky. She would probably be very sarcastic to his hard time but I think that'd they'd get along in unexpected ways and see what happens in the long run....we should start this A S A P! :)

Cassidy would be Katya's best friend because she loves loves loves honesty, and would give her crap for sucking up to the populars but let her be if its what she really wanted to do. They would do everythinh together that involves mayhem!!! The only drugs Katya really does is alcohol and weed from time to time but if she found out Cassidy was into harder things that could in the end destroy hey, Katya would have no problem confronting her, even if it isn't with just words. But bff's <3 :)

Then at a party, they seem to bump into each other and dancing and alcohol gets involved causing them to be all over each other and they wake up the next day like "oops" but don't really make a big deal and as she gets ready to leave they decide to be friends with benefits

This strange and wonderful ride between Katya and Quinn started shortly after she arrived to town. She is a pretty girl, and this alone led him towards her, like a moth to the flame. Then there was the whole Katya and Cassidy are best friends, and Cassidy and Quinn's best friend Jake were dating during the time. Now, true enough that Quinn cannot stand Cassidy. Hates the girl with a firey passion. Katya is a completely different story though. This girl has something to her that has intrigued Quinn. Caused those brows of his to raise and right when he thinks that he has her figured out she goes and throws something different at him. This is one girl that keeps him guess.

I am thinking that there is a sort of friendship between the two of them. Constant flirting, and hell, maybe they've hooked up more than once since they are both incredibly beautiful people. He has no interest in a relationship with her probably because there is a part deep deep down in him that doesn't want to end up hurting her. He knows what sort of person he is. There is no girl, though, that he enjoys as much as he does Katya. And she is quite likely one of the only human beings that he doesn't feel annoyed by.

He isn't a great friend, though, and chances are that he has said things that have pissed her off. He also won't apologize for anything so hopefully she at this point has just accepted that he is how he is.

<3 <3 <3, So I could definitely see Katya be interested in Quinn physically when she spots him around town wondering who he is. Low and behold, they both go to Harbour and one day either or can approach the other out of impatience to talk to one another and they immediately get good vibes. Katya tells Cassidy this and she obviously goes BA-ZURK! Soooo Katya still talks and hangs out with Quinn not telling Cassidy to avoid upsetting her.

They would probably hook up eventually because the sexual tension that builds up and after that they perhaps spend more time together but both deny any feelings when deep down they're both lying? I could see them both be really stubborn about certain things causing 'couple-like' arguments but perhaps Quinn is someone who gets Katya on a different leve? add/subtract?
