Dainton is eighteen. He grew up in Chicago- his brother died, his parents split and he watched his best friend accidently almost kill someone in a fight, and go to juvi; needless to say Dainton was never exactly on the straight and narrow path of life. He lived a carefree life, drinking too much, hooking up with too many girls, and dappling in drugs. He got in trouble with the law a few times. His father, a lawyer bailed him out, and he moved to OC two years ago, so his father could keep a better watch on him. He joined the football & basketball team & is enjoying the lifestyle.

Dainton is a popular guy. He’s bound to have a fair few friends; mostly superficial. He’d probably have one or two close friends- male/female. He’s probably likely to have a few fake friends too. Daniton would definitely befriend people to get into a party/pants/whatever.

He’s a player, and will have a number of flings/hook-ups/fwb. He could have a few exes, and crushes. He’s a flirt and definitely has a soft spot for brunettes. Maybe a girl who could tame him… like his future gf?

Being a jock and having had a fairly complicated family life, Dainton is has a bit of pent up anger, he’s regularly in bar fights and has a flailing temper which he struggles to control. He is easily sarcastic and often insults people without much thought. He can be a bit of a bully, but it isn't his main personality trait. He is likely to have upset one or two girls who he humped and dumped; maybe their boyfriends or brothers... and he's probably wound a few of the guys up too.

SERENA && DAINTON
Okay, so Serena would obviously find Dainton extremely good looking, so something romantic should definitely happen there. I'm thinking maybe it could start with casual flirting and slowly move from there to a hook up/fwb and then maybe to an actual relationship? I can definitely see Serena falling for him, plus they would make a cute couple. It's already arranged that Connor Fox is going to be her final, but until then I think we can have some fun with these two being together. Maybe an on and off thing if you don't want them to be fully together? What do you think?

Michael&Dainton

I don't see Mike really like him much, because he takes sports so seriously and Dainton is into drinking and partying. Mike expects his teams mates to work just as hard as him, which is usually ridiculous cause he's a bit too dedicated, but he'd think Dainton wasn't commited enough to the team. He isn't one for confrontation, but if they pissed each other off enough I could see them getting into a fight, although Michael would avoid it at first because they might get suspended from the team.

okay, so because this is alex pettyfer and an incredibly amazing character, i felt the need to post here ~ neve is kind of a crazy bitch, she treats people badly and she's just not okay in the head! she was a former it girl, and is now at the bottom of the food chain. she's basically using that as a cover up for several issues in her life. i think she would be attracted to him, but possibly bothered by his whole persona. maybe an enemies with benefits type of thing could go on here?

ALEX PETTYFER! -dies- -revives- OKAY. So, I REALLY love your character and I feel like Valene might be the one who could possibly tame him. Valene's a flirt, she fools around sometimes, but she is in no way easy to get to that point. Valene is a tough, independent and sarcastic girl who should not be messed with. I feel like at first Valene and Dainton would sort of butt heads because he'd probably be a sleeze bag and try to get her in bed and she just won't have it. Also, the whole drug thing is a bit of a turn off for her, she doesn't mind alcohol, but even then she's not big into people who drink a lot. Anyway, so maybe there would be something that forces them to spend time together, something for school maybe, and they start to really get to know each other. And... need I say more? XD Any thoughts? :)

Love this idea. Dainton would definitely want to be seen with the Queen Bee. Maybe they start off on/off; mainly because he’s got wandering eyes and when he’s drunk; if she’s not there, then he can’t exactly keep his hands to himself. But he’s charming and funny and she likes the whole bad boy thing. But she could maybe get on his nerves- the fact she maybe wanted them to be coupled up at times, which only drives him away. So they argue & it’s off and then he sleeps with someone, she maybe gets a bit jealous; they get drunk & get back together. A totally unconventional relationship; but mega fun & they actually do like each other a fair bit in reality?

Sportsman rivalry! Excellent! Mike would probably irritate Dainton, especially since he’s that dedicated and a junior. Dainton would see himself as above Mike; and could maybe try and undermine him in front of the others; like if Mike suggested a practice- Dainton decides to throw a party. Dainton will regularly turn up to practice hung over; he does perform well, and so he doesn’t let the team down, but maybe Mike is just waiting for him to trip up so he gets thrown off the team? And a fight would be totally awesome! [/font]

Maybe before Neve’s brother died; Dainton & Neve hooked up now and then. He kind of liked her, but then very suddenly she changed. He couldn’t cope with that since Dainton’s brother died from leukaemia when he was thirteen, so he distanced himself. They became enemies; because it was easier for Dainton to deal with, and he became a bit of a jerk towards her. But they have heated arguments which lead to a passionate embrace; enemies with benefits <3 [/font]

Dainton & Valene

Love this idea. Dainton definitely needs taming. Maybe they could be paired to work together for some project, and he turns up hung over. It’s the first thing that begins to annoy Valene; maybe they argue over that, and the fact that they have very different ideas for the project. Dainton flirts with her; because he flirts with most pretty girls, but then actually starts to get to know her and she gets to know him. Surprise surprise they get along well; and he’s not as big of a jerk as she once thought. He invites her to a party because they are now in the friend zone; he becomes a sleaze and tries it on with her when he’s really drunk; she turns him down. Dainton’s brother died of leukaemia when he was thirteen and maybe around the anniversary; Dainton goes out; gets off his head and takes something to make him freak out. He’s a total mess and he calls Valene. She could maybe help him and then when he’s sober & confessed his life story; they kiss & the rest is history!? Ha! I think I’m getting carried away by all the plots! [/blockquote][/blockquote][/font]

Love it! The idea of them sort of hating each other with out actually verbally fighting with each other for a while is good. Dainton undermining Mike, Mike trying to make him look bad. Eventually they just get so pissed with one another they explode and get into a real fight. Sounds like lots of fun!

Since Molly is a Sophomore, Dainton would be a bit careful about where he hung out with her. They’d probably get on well, being in the same clique and all, but I doubt he’d open up to her since he doesn’t open up to many people. If we thread at a night club, maybe they don’t get on too well at first; he’s already been in trouble with the police a few times so he wont really want to be seen with someone who looks younger since he’s trying to avoid trouble.
